SVIweb – When spec’ing its new Type 6 Wildland Unit, Front Range Fire Rescue chose a Chevy Silverado 5500 4×4 chassis, powered by a 6.7 Durmax Turbo Diesel.

This Wildland Unit features a Darley 1.5AGE Fast-Attack 2 Pump with a 300-gal. Poly water tank, 10-gal. foam tank and front bumper ground-sweep nozzles.

The Brush Truck is also equipped with a Warn 16,500-lb. 12-volt electric winch, a Kussmaul 120V AC 20-amp power inlet, OnScene Access LED compartment lights, Whelen LED emergency lights and a 100-watt aluminum siren.
